Scouts
Cub Scouts
Cub Scout Pack 498 (grades 1-5 or ages 7-10) meets twice a month during the school year on Sunday evenings at Saint Benedict School. Meetings are well-planned and include games, crafts and challenges associated with advancement in the Cub Scout program. The pack schedules at least one outing each month. These "Super Saturday" activities have included snow tubing, hikes through area parks and historic sites, and other adventures. Cub Scouts (and their families!) also enjoy the great outdoors during two overnight camping trips.

Boy Scouts
Boy Scout Troop 498 (grades 6-12 or ages 11-18) enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking, skiing, backpacking and other monthly outdoor activities. Boy Scouts learn self-reliance, citizenship skills and leadership as they advance on the trail to Eagle. The troop meets three times a month on Monday evenings at Saint Benedict School during the school year. Typical meetings include instruction in scout skills, a game and preparation for upcoming camping trips. Boy Scouts also perform service projects for the parish and community and attend a week-long summer camp.
