Kindergarten Applicants

Introduction 

Please get application material turned in as soon as possible.  That includes an application (with $50 application fee) and a copy of your child's birth certificate.    

Kindergarten Screening

Our kindergarten screening is usually done in groups of 5-10 to make the children feel more comfortable.  Parents have the opportunity to meet with the principal during the screening and meet some of the other future kindergarten parents.  Children are directed by our kindergarten teacher through a series of activities that test their ability to follow directions, motor skills, and academic abilities in a relaxed setting.  It is not a "pass or fail" test, and the results are usually very helpful for parents and the school.  After April 30, screening is done by individual appointment.  The screening is only done once, unless the school or parent requests a second screening.  Our next kindergarten screening will be held February 20 at 9am.

Important Dates

January 9 - Screening for parish children and school siblings 

January 24 - Open House from 12:30-2:30pm 

January - Acceptance Letters mailed for January screening

February 20 - Screening for all children

March - Acceptance Letters mailed for February screening

March 30 - Financial Aid applications due

April 8 - Financial Aid Award Letters mailed

September thru June - Submit applications for fall 2010
