Bridgit Mikkelson - Junior Kindergarten

Last week we had a wonderful All Saints Day party! Thank you to everyone who helped.  This week is the letter I! We are already on our third vowel, and the students have been doing great. This week we will talk about iguanas, inchworms, igloos, and insects, play instruments, and learn about Abraham and Isaac in Religion. The students will continue learning about estimating in Math this week. We will practice writing Ii and continue practicing our numbers. We will really focus on differentiating among the vowels we have learned so far (which can be tricky!)Tuesday is picture day retakes. If your child is retaking pictures make sure you send in the correct forms. The book fair will be going on at school this week. Our class will preview the books on Tuesday. Feel free to come by and check out the book fair when you are dropping off or picking up your child.
