Language Arts - verbs, poetry, continued practice with cursive handwriting and beginning this quarter all turn-in assignments are to be in cursive, Reading Counts! reading program - 2 books are required for this quarter (any extra books read will receive extra credit toward reading grade), spelling weekly

Math - multiplication with multiple digits X one digit, continued timed multiplication quizzes every Wed. & Fri., after basic facts of multiplication are mastered timed division quizzes of the basic facts will begin

Social Studies - Colonial America, preparing for test on Chapters 4 & 5, currently reading Ch. 6 

Science - concluding vertebrate and invertebrate unit, beginning lessons on animal adaptations

Religion - Ch. 13 in text - King Saul, David & Goliath, and King David, praying Act of Contrition (to prepare for upcoming Season of Lent), praying St. Michael prayer (school morning prayer for March), focus on Saint of Week each week and Virtue of the Month - Charity, Gospel for Sunday is read every Friday afternoon
