Parents,

I hope everyone enjoyed a blessed & restful summer.  I look forward to seeing everyone on Book Day, Mon., Aug. 30!  When you arrive, there will be notes on the front board as to how to proceed in the 4th grade classroom.  Nametags should be on the desks to direct you to your child's desk (alphabetical order for the first couple/few weeks of school).  If not, I will direct you to your child's desk. 

All hardcover books will need to be covered with paper or booksocks.  I will have paper, St. Benedict covers available if needed.  The religion text (softcover) will also need to be covered.  All other softcovers can remain uncovered.  You may cover books on Book Day.  If you do not cover on Book Day, books will need to be covered by Thurs., Sept. 2. 

Supplies can be left at your child's desk on Book Day.  You do not need to worry about labeling them with name & subject, we will do that together the first week of school.  If you have any questions about supplies, I will be happy to help you on Book Day.  I know there have been questions about the 3 ring folder & I can clarify on Book Day if needed.  All supplies, as books covered, will be due on Thurs., Sept. 2.  Also, on your child's desk, there will be a parent information sheet (due 9/2) & a textbook contract (to fill-out on Book Day).
