At www.eduplace.com, continue to do Unit 3: Chapter 7 exercises on shapes. Next week we will be working on Unit 4: Numbers to 100.

At www.internet4classrooms.com, click on interactive practice. In the phonics section, go to #4 Phonics Knowledge. Scroll down until you get to the l blend, r blend, and s blend matching activities. You may also go to the Grammar section, and do the word endings and capitalization and punctuation activities.

Continue practicing the Theme 4 words and sight word list when you can. Theme 5 words and more sight words will come home this week.

Monday

1. Write each spelling word two times in your spelling notebook. highlight the s blends.

2. Math sheet on tangram sheets. Do the connect part of the page in your spelling notebook.

Tuesday

1. Take home two stacks of cubes, numeral cards 1-20, and a tens/ones place value workmat. Show in order how to use the cubes to show amounts 1-20 using the workmat as we did in class. If time, mix up the numeral cards, and practice making stacks of tens and ones. return the materials tomorrow.

2. Read your Reading Counts book and be ready to take the quiz tomorrow.

3. Return your library books.

Wednesday

1. Math numeration sheet on teen numbers.

2. Fill in numerals 21-100 on your hundreds board neatly and without any backwards numbers.

Thursday

1. Study for the spelling test.

2. Read Jock's hut and answer the questions on the sheet.
