There will not be a spelling test this week.

 We will be continuing to practice telling time and counting money throughout the remainder of the school year. Please reinforce these skil at home, because these skills need regular practice. Thanks.

Sorry, I did not send home the Oreo sign up sheet. It will come home this week.

Thursday is a half -day.

Thank you parents that volunteered with Feeding the Homeless. Each child prepared four lunches. The parents prepared the remainder. It is gratifying to help others.

Monday

1. Eight children need to return  money and permission slip for the Children's Museum this this Thursday.

2. Review the Theme 8 words. Then play the Theme 8 words board game with one of your parents. Use a dice if you have one. If not, write the numbers 1 through 6 on slips of paper and use them as a draw pile. Find small objects from home to be you and your opponent. Both begin on the start square. Roll, go to the correct square, read the word , and stay there until it's your turn again. If you can't read the word, go back to where you were.

3. Return your library books.

4. Complete subtraction workbook pages from Chapter 16 if you've been absent.

Tuesday

1. Complete math sheet on patterns.

2. Complete spelling sheet on word patterns.

Wednesday

1. Return your trip permission slip and money if you need to.

2.Practice reading your Theme 8 words and Sight words on the back of Theme 7 wordlist if you still have it. Sign the form.

Thursday

1. Write three things you learned from our field trip about animal habitats.

2. Complete a spiral review math sheet.

3. Eat a big breakfast tomorrow morning because we have Mass tomorrow.
