Title I classes will be starting up soon!

I am so excited to be returning to school the week of August 29th!  I am still walking on crutches after my accident in April, but appreciate those of you who sent me well wishes and prayers.  Tracy Tripp will be joinging me again this year as the middle school Title I teacher.  We are looking forward to the new year!

Thank you for everyone's kind thoughts and prayers during my accident.  After 3 surgeries I am finally  starting to feel a little better.  I still will not be able to put pressure on my foot until the middle of July, but I am looking forward in returning in the fall.   Enjoy the summer vacation and stay safe!

The Enormous Egg:  The book went home with grades 1 through 4 last week.  Enjoy reading the book with your child!

Student Authors:  The Reading students are publishing their own book!  When completed, parents will be invited for an "author" signing.

Beginning on 1/10 I will start mid-year PALS and other assessments.

283 books have been checked out from the Title I room so far this year!!  Way to go!!!

Title I progress reports will go home on January 28th.

December book journals went home on December 2nd.  They may be turned in before Christmas vacation or you may wait until after the break.

It's not too late to sign up for conferences.  My goal is to meet with all parents at some point during the year.

A Parent Student Workshop will be held for all Title I families on Wednesday, November 3rd at All Saints School.  A pizza dinner will be provided.  Kathryn Starke will be the guest speaker.  Please see the attached web link for her website and for more information.  Feel free to email me if you can attend.
