Our study of rocks continues.  This week we will focus on Sedimentary and Metamorphic rocks.  Weathering & erosion, heat & pressure- talk about exciting!!!!!!!!

Lab-     Thursday, 11/10/11  "Comparing Igneous Rocks"  due Friday, 11/11/11   If students are going home early with their Grandparents, they must turn in their lab noteboook  to Mrs. Beirne before leaving.

This week-

Lab:     Students will complete Mineral Identification lab on Monday and turn in lab notebooks on Tuesday, 11/01/11. 

Test:    Due to Mass and the Saints Wax Museum on Tuesday, the Chapter 4 Test has been moved to Thursday, 11/03/11.  Flashcards are also due on Thursday, 11/03/11.

DUE TO A PRIOR FAMILY COMMITTMENT, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONDUCT CONFERENCES NEXT WEEK.  AN EMAIL WILL GO OUT LISTING SEVERAL MORNINGS AND LATE AFTERNOONS WHEN I WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES THE FOLLOWING WEEK.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE.
