If you would like for your child to participate in Jump/Hoops for Heart, please send in the form of permission & $5 by Monday, Feb. 6.  Both the form & $5 are required to participate.  If your child participates, they can wear tag day clothes.

You received an e-mail last week from Mrs. Friend regarding iPad permission slips & ear buds.  If you haven't turned-in your permission slip, please do so as soon as possible.  If you need another copy, let me know.  Also, please send-in ear buds for your child.  I will be collecting them & keeping them in the classroom for iPad use.

Happy New Year 2012!  Thank you for all the wonderful gifts I received for Christmas.  I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas Season.  Can you believe we are almost to 2nd Semester!?!

Book Fair is here!  The 3rd grade will preview the book fair Tues., Nov. 8.  On Wed., Nov. 9 the children will have an opportunity to purchase books.  If you are interested in your child purchasing books on Wed., when we visit as a class, please send money with them.  I can hold it for them until we visit if you would like.

I am so proud of the children and their hard work on the habitat dioramas!  I was amazed when I saw them!  We began sharing on Thurs. and Fri. & will continue next week.  The dioramas will be displayed in the library in order for as many people to enjoy them as possible.  The children seemed proud of their work & excited to hear they would be on display in the library :)  Thank you for any guidance or help you may have offered to your child on the project.
