Hello!

Our Minds in Motion tickets have arrived! Please let me know if you would like yours now otherwise I will hold onto them until the week of the show. I have several extra tickets now so please let me know if you would like more for family or friends.

Thursday: Book Fair extended until 6:00pm

Friday: Grandparent's Day - Mass followed by reception, classroom visits and Book Fair

Hi everyone!

On Tuesday, November 1st we are going to be having an All Saints Day party in 4th grade. Mrs. Cook (Connor's mom) and Mrs. McGranahan (Sean's mom) are going to bring us treats and we are going to celebrate the Saints with food and games. Students are invited to dress as a Saint DURING the party. All costumes must go on OVER the students' uniforms.  There will be a prize for the best costume, so be creative! :)

You should have all received a flier in today's family envelope that mentioned a Chuck E Cheese night next Monday. This is a fundraiser for Minds in Motion so please encourage everyone you know to attend if they're interested!

Lots of things are happening this week for 4th grade!

Tuesday: Picture Day
Wednesday: MIM
Thursday: Field Trip to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Friday: Spanish Mass celebrated with St. Gertrude's 

We took a lot of tests and quizzes last week and we will take a few more this week. I am trying to grade everything and get it posted to mystudentsprogress.com as soon as I can! Thanks for your patience.

Just a reminder that Minds in Motion begins this Wednesday morning.  Please have your child dress in their PE gear on Wednesdays from now on. We will no longer have PE on Thursdays.

Hi everyone-

I hope you were able to attend some of the Oktoberfest festivities this past weekend! Despite the dreary weather I think it was a success!  Below are some updates about our class.

-Attached is the handout I gave out over Back to School Night. If you did not attend then i sent it home with your student the following day.

-This week we are having a lot of tests and quizzes but nothing too major. If you want to know what subjects and when just check your student's homework journal. They SHOULD be listed in there.

I just wanted to send out a last minute reminder that Wednesday night is Back to School Night at SBS.  I hope that you can attend!

Please meet in St. Anselm Hall at 7:00pm.  You will hear from a few different people/organizations and then head to our classroom to hear about 4th grade.  I am excited to talk more about the things we're doing and what you can expect from us over the upcoming year.
