Ruth Donohue - Resource

Part of my responsibilities as the Resource Teacher is to be the liason between our school and the Public School in the Child Study process. If a child is having great difficulty in learning a referral can be made by either the teacher or the parent and a meeting can be scheduled to determine whether a evaluation is necessary. If that is the case then a complete social, psychological and academic evaluation is performed. From that information, an IEP is written that lists accomodations that can be made in the classrom to help the child.

Hello everyone. My name is Mrs. Donohue and I am the Resource Teacher for the school. I work with 3rd, 4th, 5th grade students on Math and Language Arts skills. I also teach a section of 8th grade Language Arts.
