Our Fairy Tale plays are tomorrow, May 27 at 8:40.

May 28 is Center Day.

Our End of the Year Party is Wednesday, June 3. The children will receive diplomas and ice cream.

June 1 the First Grade will be taught by our Teacher for the Day, Vivian Ridgely!! It is also the First Graders turn to Feed the Homeless!! We will be helping out in the morning!!

]]>My friend Bill will be keeping Piglet for the summer. Thanks so those that offered to help. Since there were some blank spots we decided it would be best for him to keep her.

Important Dates and Information

The Spring Concert performance of The Frog Prince is this Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30. The children are to wear dress clothes and need to be in the classroom by 6:10.

Our Fairy Tale Plays will be performed Wednesday, May 27 at 8:40. They should last about 35 minutes. Cookies and gingerale will be served afterwards.

Early Christians Center Day will be on Thursday, May 28.

Our End of the Year party will be on Wednesday, June 3 at 8:30. We will receive our diplomas for completing First Grade and enjoy ice cream afterwards. If you signed up for the End of the Year party, please contact parents about bringing in the ice cream. We will conduct our celebration out on the front lawn.

We will celebrate our summer birthdays next year. Tuesday we will celebrate the June birthdays, Wednesday we will celebrate the July birthdays and Friday we will celebrate the August birthdays.

The First Grade will be Feeding the Homeless on Monday, June 1 and Vivian Ridgely will be the Teacher for the Day that day.

I am sending home some extra math sheets that can be zeroxed for some children use to practice their addition and subtraction facts to 18. It’s very important to get faster at knowing these facts. In addition I believe the first graders have one or two books that they will need to read over the summer to prepare for Second Grade.
