This week:

No Current Events-  it is hard to believe, but the 8th graders have completed current events for the year as well as their middle school career.  I have to admit, it makes me just a bit sad.  Even though they will never say so, they did learn a lot from having to keep up with the science in our everyday lives.  Perhaps you will be fortunate enough to have a high school teacher who gives you a similar assignment!

Earth Science Final Exam-     Thursday, May 23rd @8:30-10:00 am.          Students have been given all of their science tests in order to begin reviewing for the final exam.  An exam review sheet will be given out at the end of this week.  During class Monday, May 20th, we be reviewing for the exam.

2.Practice the addition facts that add up to 17 and 18 and sign the form.

I am in need of volunteers to stay backstage with the students and me during the performance and between shows.   Please let me know if you are interested.  I am only allowed a certain number of volunteers, so I will let you know if you can be of assistance.

I have some extra tickets if you are in need of any.  Please let me know what you need.  I will distribute them on a first come, first serve basis.  Please let me know by tomorrow.

Please continue to work with your child on basic facts.  As we try to make equivalent fractions, it is necessary to know them quickly.
